On August 19, 2026, the YMCA Foundation for Northern Development welcomed students from Otsuma Nakano and San Pa Tong School to The Environment and Energy Learning Center (YMCA Saohin).

The activity provided an opportunity for the students to exchange knowledge about infectious diseases and appropriate ways to protect themselves, as well as visit the exhibition rooms and learn about environmental and energy-related issues. The students gained a better understanding of approaches to reducing greenhouse gas emissions, which are a major factor contributing to global climate change. They also learned about efficient electricity use, waste separation, and sustainable consumption, with consideration for both environmental and health impacts.

Throughout the activity, the students participated actively and showed great interest. At the end of the activity, they took part in making a multipurpose cleaning solution for household use. This hands-on activity promoted practical learning and enabled the students to apply the knowledge they gained in their daily lives.
