On 15 August 2026, the YMCA for Northern Development Foundation welcomed a group of 10 young people from Yokohama YMCA, Japan, at the Energy and Environmental Conservation Learning Center (YMCA Soa Hin). During the visit, the youth explored the exhibition room and learned about ways to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, a key factor contributing to global climate change. They also learned about efficient electricity use, waste segregation, and sustainable consumption, with consideration for their impacts on the environment and human health.

During the visit, the youth showed great interest and exchanged ideas on ways to change their daily behaviors to promote the efficient use of resources, reduce environmental impacts, and support more environmentally friendly lifestyles.
